Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

Effective Date: 30/10/2025

At PC Choice, we stand by everything we sell. Every system we build and product we recommend is tested to perform — and backed by clear, fair protection. If something isn't right, we'll fix it fast.

This policy explains how returns, repairs, and refunds work — in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our Fixed & Fearless Guarantee.

1

Change of Mind

Once an order has been placed or a custom build has started, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or compatibility issues.

We encourage you to double-check your specs with our team before purchasing to make sure you get exactly what you need.

2

Faulty or Defective Products

If a product appears faulty, contact us immediately. We'll assess whether it is:

  • Major fault: Eligible for repair, replacement, or refund under ACL.
  • Minor fault: Repaired or replaced within a reasonable timeframe.

Repairs or replacements use original or equivalent-quality parts, tested and verified by our technicians.

3

Warranty Coverage

Custom PCs – 3-Year Limited Warranty

Covers hardware faults and workmanship issues for three years (Parts & Labour).

Laptops & Components – Manufacturer Warranty

Applies for the manufacturer's specified period (usually 1–3 years).

Diagnostics & Labour – 30-Day Fixed & Fearless Guarantee

If the same issue reoccurs within 30 days, we'll fix it again at no cost.

Note: Warranty service requires the product to be returned to PC Choice.

What's not covered:

  • Physical, liquid, or electrical damage
  • Third-party repairs, tampering, or overclocking
  • Viruses, software corruption, or accidental damage

How to Make a Return or Warranty Claim

  1. Email sales@pc-choice.com.au with your order number and a description of the issue.
  2. We may guide you through remote troubleshooting first.
  3. If necessary, we'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
  4. Return the item securely packaged (ideally in the original packaging).
  5. Once inspected, we'll advise whether it will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
  6. Shipping is at the customer's expense unless the fault is confirmed as a major product issue.
5

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only provided when:

  • The product has a major failure that cannot be repaired or replaced within a reasonable timeframe, or
  • Refunds are required by Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method and exclude diagnostic, shipping, or installation fees.

6

Data & Software Disclaimer

Please back up your files before returning your system. PC Choice is not responsible for any data loss during repairs or replacements.

7

Our Commitment

We're not just here to fix computers — we're here to make sure you're protected long after purchase. Our promise: fair service, fast turnarounds, and full transparency.
